Virtual Reality

Virtual Reality (VR) has been developing over the last few years; artists from the video game industry and, more and more, film directors are using it and offer new forms of cinematic writing, presenting new experiences to the audience.

Since 2018, Rencontres Audiovisuelles has presented a seasonal programme at L’hybride, sessions during the International Short Film Festival and the Fête de l’anim’, and discovery sessions in the Hauts-de-France region during some stops of the itinerant programme Ciné Soupe.

Furthermore, the organisation can organise VR sessions for all types of structures. The catalogue consists of films selected for their technical and artistic qualities, and can be showcased in various ways, from discovery sessions to bigger events.
Rencontres Audiovisuelles can take care of the distribution rights negotiations, supply the VR equipment, handle the technical installation and the mediation around the sessions.
