Rencontres Audiovisuelles offers practical video mapping workshops, combining visual image education and artistic practice. These workshops are intended for various audiences, and can be built around different formats in terms of duration and temporality. After a period of initiation and collective creation, the workshops usually end with a showing of the participants’ production.
These workshops are a way to promote the heritage of the city, to offer a festive and spectacular event, and to raise awareness around this innovative digital creation tool among a group of inhabitants.
Every year, educational workshops are organised as part of the Video Mapping Festival, with the Métropole Européenne de Lille, Valenciennes Métropole and the Communauté d’Agglomération Béthune-Bruay Artois Lys Romane, in order to involve the inhabitants of the territories in the event.
