Residencies

The Video Mapping European Center residencies bring together regional or international artists and researchers, with the aim of producing creations that explore the various fields of video mapping.
The residencies offer an opportunity for learners and young professionals to develop their first individual works. They also act as an experimentation and observation laboratory for research.
Every year, as part of the Video Mapping Festival, Rencontres Audiovisuelles welcomes around 15 artists at Arenberg Creative Mine during a 1-week residency, gathering professionals from video mapping, animated films, cinema, digital arts, researchers, etc., in order to produce original works that are to be shown during the Opening night of the Festival.
The artists then work remotely while receiving artistic and technical advice.
Other residencies can be organised occasionally, especially as part of international cooperative projects.
Time: throughout the year
Place: Hauts-de-France region
